Making mobility easy and economical for you.

People on the move can now connect to the Internet at a growing number of public access centers - from public libraries to hotels to clubhouses.

If your organization serves the traveling public you can now offer public Internet access economically and securely with systems specifically designed for this purpose. Your network can include wired and wireless segments.

Public access networks offer unique capabilities:

Dynamic Address Translation (DAT) automatically resolves IP configuration issues to facilitates the connection of the user's computer regardless of its current network options. No ongoing technical support is needed.

Bandwidth Management allows you to control the speed that is offered to the subscribers when they connect to your network through a wireless or wired hub, preventing a single user from capturing the total available bandwidth.

Homepage Redirection (HPD) guides the user into your network. When the user opens a web browser, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape, the system automatically directs the user to your welcome page. This page can be an interactive Portal with instructions and information for the users.

Optional Billing adds flexibility to the administration of the network. You can offer either free access or a combination of free services and fee-based access. Various billing plans can be supported by the same system. You can also connect it to your Premises Management System (PMS) for room billing.

Site Blocking allows you to deny access to certain sites.

Peer-to-peer Blocking prevents any subscriber from accessing the computer of any other subscriber on the network.
