1. Needs Assessment. An Advanced Needs Assessment Questionnaire is offered to you on-line to gather the necessary information to complete the Advanced INneR services.
2. Equipment.
This offering applies to the following NetGear UTM models: UTM5, UTM10, UTM25, UTM50 or UTM150. The equipment is shipped to WaveTeam's Lab for customization.
3. Customization items.
- License activation and product registration.
- Update firmware if necessary..
- LAN and WAN configuration according to the Advanced Needs Assessment data.
- Reserved IP addresses for the servers identified by MAC address in the Needs Assessment.
- Activation of IPS for web, email, databases and malware.
- Creation of Schedule 1 for business days according to the Needs Assessment.
- Creation of Schedule 2 for Saturday according to the Needs Assessment.
- Creation of Schedule 3 for Sundays according to the Needs Assessment.
- Attack checks for ping on internet ports and enable stealth mode.
- Application Security applied to Services identified in the Needs Assessment.
- Append warnings on e-mails as indicated in the Needs Assessment.
- Attack checks for ping on internet ports and enable stealth mode.
- Distributed Spam Analysis applied to SMTP and POP3.
- Content filtering by category, as specified in the Needs Assessment.
- Tursted hosts list as specified in the Needs Assessment.
- Establish IP range for SSL VPN clients.
- Configured Client Route for destination network with information from the Needs Assessment.
- Set the unit to customer's time zone and activate automatic adjust for Daylight Savings Time.
- Switch to different NTP server if one is provided by the customer in the Needs Assessment.
- Establish user profiles for an administrator and for SSL VPN users as per the Needs Assessment data, to the maximum specified in the table below.
- Enable HTTPS for remote administration.
- All other UTM options left with default values.

4. Site preparation information.
- Site preparation guidelines are provided online for the NetGear UTM products. Additional instructions may be shipped with the customized equipment, if necessary.
5. Shipment.
The customized unit is shipped to your designated location for connection to the electrical power and to the network as specified by the site preparation guidelines and by any instructions accompanying the customized equipment.
6. Distance Learning for the Network Administrator. Once all equipment is at your location, a 1 1/2 -hour session will be held on-line and on the telephone with the network administrator, as follows:
- Confirm with the administrator that site preparation is completed and the UTM has been connected to the electrial power and to the network.
- Make the administrator aware of the characteristics of UTM as designed under this offer.
- Remote access of the adminstrator's Windows PC by WaveTeam technician for hands-on instructions.
- Review of administrator's tasks to monitor the UTM functioning.
- Review of system backup procedure.
- Review of procedures to add or delete authorized VPN users.
- Review user-friendly practices for the SSL VPN users.
- Review of procedures to add or delete filtered catagories.
- Review of procedures to add or delete services to be scanned or blocked.
- Review of procedures to add or delete digital certificates.
- Review of procedures to enable the DMZ port of the UTM
- Make the administrator aware of the support resources available for the included equipment.
7. Remote Assistance to SSL VPN Users, as follows:
- Remote Assistance (RA) will be provided for VPN users to the maximum specified in the table above (Section 3)
- The Remote Assistance service takes about 20 minutes per user.
- At WaveTeam's discretion, remote access of the user's PC by the WaveTeam technician may be required.
- It will include the necessary procedures to establish the VPN tunnel with the UTM and to locate the targeted shared resources according to the Needs Assessment.
