This offer is designed for offices with up to about 25 people with the need to access the company's network resources while in the office or on the road, with ease and security. Although the various components of this offer are sophisticated devices, our comprehensive services will allow you to avoid dealing with the complexity of the application. At the same time, these services will allow the users to benefit from the new capabilities from the first day.

1. Needs Assessment. A Preliminary Needs Assessment Questionnaire is provided to help you determine what solution best responds to your needs. If Secure 3 is selected, you may place an order and we will send you the Detailed Needs Assessment Questionnaire to gather the information necessary to customize the products in this offering.
2. Equipment.
a) One NetGear ProSecure UTM25 Unified Threat Management appliance, with 1 year web protection, e-mail protection and maintenance. Product Code UTM10EW-100NAS. To view the product description click here. For a comparison table of the various UTM models, clieck here.
b) Two NetGear WNAP320 Wireless Access Point supporting wireless clients equipped with IEEE 802.11n interfaces in the 2.4 GHz frequency and the legacy clients with 802.11g cards. Product Code WNAP320-100NAS. To view the product description click here.
c) One NetGear ProSafe GS724TP Ethernet Switch with 24 ports, supporting 10/100/1000 Mb/s speeds and 802.3af Power-over-Ethernet. Product Code GS724TP-100NAS. To view the product description click here.
3. In-house Customization. This service starts with the procurement of the equipment included in the package. Once the products arrive in our lab, the following services will be performed:
For the UTM10:
- License activation and product registration.
- Update firmware if necessary.
- Network configuration according to the needs assessment data.
- Reserved IP addresses for the servers identified in the needs assessment.
- Activation of Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) for web, email, databases and malware.
- Creation of Schedule 1 for business days, 8-5 (future use).
- Creation of Schedule 2 for Mon-Sat, 8-5 (future use).
- Creation of Schedule 3 for weekends (future use).
- Attack checks for ping on internet ports and enable stealth mode.
- Application Security applied to Services identified in the needs assessment.
- Append warnings on e-mails as identified in the needs assessment.
- Distributed Spam Analysis applied to SMTP and POP3.
- Content Filtering by category, as specified in the needs assessment.
- Trusted Hosts list as specified in the needs assessment.
- Establish IP range for SSL VPN clients.
- Configured Client Route for destination network.
- Establish user profiles for administrator, guest and SSL VPN users, according to the needs assessment.
- Enable HTTPS for remote administration.
- Enable SNMP if requested by the customer in the needs assessment.
- Set the unit to the customer's time zone and activate automatic adjust for Daylight Savings Time.
- Switch to a different NTP server if one is provided by the customer in the needs assessment.
- All other UTM options left with default values.
For the WNAP320:
- License activation and registration of the WNAP320.
- Network configuration according to the needs assessment
- Activation of WAP2 security with pre-established encryption key.
- Deactivation of DHCP server to allow the UTM to be the sole DHCP server on the network.
- Connectivity testing with the customized UTM and the ethernet switch.
- Connectivity testing with mobile devices.
For the GS724TP:
- License activation and registration of the switch.
- Connectivity testing with the UTM and the wireless access point.
Site Preparation:
- Site Preparation instructions are provided with the above products, typically including Internet access requirements, equipm
- A Port Allocation Table is also provided to facilitate the connection of the various components.
This phase ends with the shipment of all customized products to your designated location for connection to the electrical power and to the network according to the documents provided with the offering.
4. Distance Learning for the Network Administrator. Once all equipment is at your location, a 1 1/2-hour session will be held on-line and on the telephone with the network administrator, as follows:
- Confirm with the administrator that all components of this solution have been plugged and activated according to the provided instructions.
- Make the administrator aware of the characteristics of the network as designed under this offer.
- Remote access of adminstrator's PC by WaveTeam technician for hands-on instructions.
- Review of administrator's tasks to monitor the UTM functioning.
- Review of procedures to add or delete authorized VPN users.
- Review user-friendly practices for the SSL VPN users.
- Review of procedures to add or delete filtered catagories.
- Review of procedures to add or delete services to be scanned or blocked.
- Review of procedures to add or delete digital certificates.
- Review of procedures to enable the DMZ port of the UTM
- Review of procuderes to monitor the functioning of the wireless access point.
- Review of procedures to change the WAP2 options of the wireless access point.
- Review of procedures to monitor the functioning of the ethernet switch.
- Review of procedures to add or delete hosts connected to the ethernet switch.
- Make the administrator aware of the support resources available for the included equipment.
5. Remote Assistance to SSL VPN Users, as follows:
- Remote Assistance (RA) will be provided for up to 10 SSL VPN users at an established time following activation of the system.
- Remote Assistance requires about 20 minutes per user..
- At WaveTeam's discretion, remote access of the user's PC by the WaveTeam technician may be required.
- It will include the necessary procedures to establish the VPN tunnel with the UTM and to locate the targeted shared resources according to the needs assessment.
