The ORiNOCO 4401-US is a fully IEEE 802.3af standard compliant power-over-ethernet (P-o-E) injector that can support existing 10/100 Mb/s devices as well as the newer 1000 Mb/s (Gigabit Ethernet) systems. It is designed with an internal AC/DC convertor, which eliminates the need for an external power block. The 4401-US is a plug-and-play injector that, once connected, automatically senses the remote P-o-E terminal and provides the required power.
The 4401-US can be used to power a variety of P-o-E devices, such as wireless Access Points, IP telephones and network cameras that comply with the IEEE standard. For non standard devices, an external splitter may be necessary.
