IN-the-Lab and Remote Customization-

Introduction

We offer special support for our customers who don't have their own information technology staff but still want to secure their networks. Our In-the-Lab and Remote Customization services—INneR for short—are specifically designed for these customers and tailored to their needs. Use the links at the bottom of this page to access the Offer Definition for each INneR option.

INneR is a very effective but simple concept. If we ship your equipment to our Lab, we customize it before we send it to you. This is our IN-the-Lab service. If you already have the equipment in your premises, you may choose to request Remote Customization from WaveTeam or you may send it to our Lab.

Two offerings are currently available for the products included in this program: A Basic module that applies equally to all the qualifying products (see list) and an Advanced module that is adapted to specific equipment and situation. Both services are available for IN-the-Lab and for Remote Customization projects, with the appropriate adjustments.

INneR entails six activities that are included in the Offer Definnition, below. Four of these activities apply to all INneR options. The other two activities apply only to the Advanced options. The following summary is offered for your convenience.

1. A Needs Assessment to determine the parameters to be used in the customization of your equipment. There is a Basic Needs Assessment tool and an Advanced Needs Assessment tool associated with the corresponding offerings.
2. The procurement of the requested products and their transfer to our lab where the In-the-Lab Customization takes place. This activity applies only to the IN-the-Lab Customization option.
3. Customization of the equipment according to the corresponding Needs Assessment. Remote access to the equipment is necessary for the Remote Customization option.
4. Shipment of the customized products to your location with detailed instructions for the connection of all components. This activity applies only to the IN-the-Lab Customization option.
5. A remote learning session to enable the network administrator to properly monitor and manage the chosen solution. Advanced Customization option only.
6. A remote learning session for the users who need to access the Virtual Private Network. The number of users varies according to the type of equipment chosen. Advanced Customization only.

At the present time, INneR is offered for the NetGear UTM5, UTM10, UTM25, UTM50 and UTM150, as well as for the bundled solutions listed as Secure 1, Secure 2 and Secure 3. Nevertheless, we can provide, at your request, a custom quote for your specific situation when you purchase other products offered by WaveTeam, LLC.
